Named in honor of his ancestor Ludvig Nobel, eldest brother of Alfred Nobel, Ludvig carries forward a legacy rooted in curiosity, responsibility, and human progress. With a background in anthropology and environmental sciences, he has spent his career exploring how knowledge, culture, and innovation can support a more balanced relationship between people and the planet. His work is shaped by a commitment to dialogue, global understanding, and the belief that shared wisdom can guide us toward a more peaceful future.

Ludvig’s connection to the Nobel heritage has been a meaningful part of his life. He was invited to attend the Nobel Prize Ceremonies in Stockholm in 1999 and again in 2024 — experiences that deepened his appreciation for the values of inquiry, compassion, and service to humankind that shaped Alfred Nobel’s vision.
Inspired by these ideals, Ludvig seeks to reflect the spirit of curiosity, responsibility, and shared wisdom in his own work across generations.
“For the greatest benefit to humankind.”
— Alfred Nobel
A clearer way to see the world. A human way to understand it.
Ludvig Nobel Media is a personal initiative created by Ludvig Nobel to explore how science, society and the inner life of human beings connect in a rapidly changing world. Rather than adding to the noise, it focuses on thoughtful questions, grounded perspectives and conversations that bridge generations. It is a space for people who value clarity over confusion, wisdom over distraction and a more constructive direction for humanity.

Victoria Nobel, wife of Ludvig Nobel, is a modern Renaissance woman whose creative spirit and intellectual curiosity span the arts, design, literature, and culinary traditions.
Victoria founded a luxury import business at NK Department Store in Stockholm in the early 1990s, introducing handcrafted furniture and rare interior pieces to Scandinavian audiences. Her discerning eye and entrepreneurial vision shaped a brand known for sophistication and quality.
She also serves as Owner and Chairman of Ludvig Nobel Media.
As an oil painter, Victoria transforms canvases into vibrant expressions of color and emotion. She is equally at home at the piano, where her love for classical music finds graceful expression through thoughtful and expressive performances.
Victoria brings a distinctive sense of harmony to interior design, combining beauty with balance. Her work often integrates principles of Feng Shui, creating environments that feel both elegant and grounding.
Her gardens are a testament to her passion for rare and historic roses, including the notable Rosa sine spinis from the 16th century. One of her rose gardens, in Åkersberga in the Stockholm archipelago, includes more than 100 varieties cultivated with care and expertise.
In the kitchen, Victoria blends Asian and European traditions into refined fusion dishes that reflect her creativity and deep appreciation for flavor
Victoria Nobel’s breadth of talents and her dedication to excellence bring beauty, balance, and imagination to everything she creates.
